About Us

Fang Qi     

Ms. Qi Fang studied violin since childhood and at the Northwest University for Nationalities and Central Conservatory of Music, winning first place in the Northwest Instrumental Music Performance. After coming to the United States, she performed with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra, and the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra. She also performed with great musicians such as Yo-Yo Ma, Leon Fleisher, Emanuel Ax, Joshua Bell, and Hilary Hahn, as well as playing numerous chamber music with the members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Qi has trained a large number of outstanding violin and viola students during her 14 years since moving to Virginia, many who have gone on to become active members of the Junior Honor District, Senior District Orchestra. Winning of the Senior Regional and All State Orchestras Auditions.and the AYPO Orchestras.

Jun Hou   

Mr. Jun Hou studied at the Central Conservatory of Music High School and Conservatory, The prestigious Peabody Institutes of The Johns  Hopkins University. He has experience with top-level orchestras such as the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra in Washington DC, and the Virginia Symphony Orchestra. He has taught classes at the Central Conservatory of Music High School and worked as a visiting professor to the Xi’an Conservatory of Music. He has also performed with the world’s top musicians, including Yo-Yo Ma, Rostropovich, Daniel Barenboim, Pierre Boulez and John Williams, as well as having toured with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra to several Asian cities including Tokyo, Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai. In the past 30 years,     Mr. Hou has cultivated and trained a large number of talented and outstanding students.Among them, students are admitted to the Curtis institute of Music,The Tianjin Juilliard School of Music. Many students are admitted to the AYPO orchestras.Winning Senior District, Senior Regional and All State Auditions Annually.
